Environmental certification ISO 14001
With our sustainable environmental management system ISO 14001, we have successfully integrated our environmental management into all areas and processes of the FFT locations. The ISO 14001 standard sets criteria for efficient and effective environmental management. We have assessed all significant environmental impacts and developed an environmental policy specifically tailored to the company.
CO2 Footprint
What is FFT’s CO2 footprint and what does it say? Our environmental team, consisting of employees from various departments such as Quality Management, Purchasing, Sales and Marketing, is preparing the CO2 balance for FFT and will derive measures from it.
Sensible use of resources
It is in our hands to use our resources sensibly. We pay attention to the conscious use and saving of raw materials, such as water, electricity, paper.
We use 100% green electricity at almost all FFT locations. Many of our locations are already connected to district heating networks. Our goal in 2022 is to also switch to 100% green gas.
At our production sites in Gallin and Mühlhausen, and to a large extent also in Stapelfeld, we use only LED lamps, because they are very durable and have low energy consumption.
E-Mobility
We have already converted a large part of the FFT Group vehicle fleet to electric mobility.
In our Stapelfeld location and soon also in Mühlhausen, e-charging stations have already been installed in the company parking lots.
